The Arc of Pueblo

People First of Pueblo was started in 1980 to help people with developmental disabilities work together to be seen as people first and a person with a disability second.

Goals of People First:

• Education: to help educate the public about people with disabilities.
• Rights: to teach people with disabilities about their rights and responsibilities.
• Services: to teach and educate people with disabilities about the services and supports that are available to them.
• Participations: Nothing about us without Us! To participate in policies and laws that directly effect us.

Your membership goes to support the programs of People First and Our State Association, Speaking for Ourselves. It will also allow you to be a voting member of both organizations.
